The New York Rangers and Vancouver Canucks will each look to extend their point streak to seven games at Madison Square Garden on Monday.
New York is 5-0-1 in its past six games, including a 5-4 shootout win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.
The Rangers have won three games in the shootout during the streak. The Rangers will be without forward Pavel Buchnevich, who sustained a broken thumb against Columbus and will be out 4-6 weeks. Vancouver, which was defeated 4-3 in a shootout against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday, is 4-0-2 in its past six.
